Call for Artists
Expressions of Winter
Submission Deadline: Oct. 27, 2023
Highlands Council is looking for artists to show us your best interpretations of winter. From paintings, to photography, to digital creations, all 2D work in any style that is ready to hang will be considered.
Artists of all mediums at any stage in their career are invited to submit up to three pieces of work for consideration. The group exhibition will be curated by Highlands Council and on display through the winter months from Dec. 1, 2023-Feb. 29, 2024. There will be an artist reception open to the community (details TBD).

- Artwork must be original. We do not take responsibility for copyright violations.
- Pieces must be clean, wired and ready to hang. We can accommodate a variety of sizes in our gallery space.
- Artists retain 100% of sales and will need to provide contact information for inquiries and make arrangements for delivery of sold artwork at the conclusion of the exhibition. Artists are responsible for notifying Highlands Council of sales so sold items can be marked with a red dot. QR codes that can be printed on the gallery cards are preferred.
- Although all possible care is shown while handling and displaying the artworks, the gallery is not liable for loss or damage. Any special provisions for display of the work (special hanging hardware, insurance, etc.) are to be provided by the artist.
Submissions will be accepted until: 10/27/23
Selected artists will be notified by: 11/3/23
Intake will be on: 11/29 & 11/30/23
Exhibit duration: 12/1/23-2/29/24
Pick up work on: 2/29 & 3/1/24
